VibeGuide (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Policy explains how we handle information when you use the VibeGuide mobile application.
2. Information We Collect
VibeGuide does not require account registration. We process only the following: (a) City search queries you enter — used solely to generate AI-powered travel recommendations; (b) Budget preferences — stored locally on your device only; (c) Saved places — stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers.
3. How We Use Information
Search queries are sent to our servers solely for the purpose of generating travel recommendations. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Anonymized usage data may be used to improve App performance.
4. Third-Party Services
VibeGuide uses the following third-party services: OpenAI and Google Gemini to generate recommendations (their respective privacy policies apply); Wikipedia for city imagery (no personal data is shared); and Google Maps when you tap on a location (Google’s privacy policy applies).
5. Data Retention
We do not maintain user accounts or store personal data on a long-term basis. Search results may be temporarily cached server-side to improve performance and are automatically purged thereafter.
6. Children’s Privacy
VibeGuide is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
